CJ’s greatest musical influences are The Meters, Dr. John, BB King, Ray Charles, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, along with
some very dear friends and musical mentors, namely: Allen Collay, James “Nick“ Nixon, Shannon Williford, and Scott
“Patio Daddio“ Achord.
After many obstacles and much time, CJ Vaughn & Highway 58’s highly anticipated debut album, Check It Out, is set to
release soon.
The members of the band are unique and diverse, both musically and personally, providing the optimum environment for
artistic development in regards to the sound of CJ Vaughn & Highway 58. They are also experienced professionals who
know what they're doing, and working with them is a piece of cake.
If you were to ask CJ he would tell you that, through his music, he hopes to promote virtue and honor while giving your
feet something joyful to move to. The music has an original sound, and a life almost it’s own, and when these guys come
together on stage it is an incredible experience that no one should miss!
