Wednesday Before IBC-
We had a really great rehearsal in front of a few
of our friends @ Patterson Park in Murfreesboro.
We wanted to see what the crowds think of our
new moves and practiced perfection.  We come
to Memphis with EVERY intention of WINNING 1st
Place OVERALL BANDS.  We have worked very
hard for this, and can't wait until we see the
results.
Thursday Before SHOWTIME-
We are in Memphis and were just informed that
we will be playing @ B.B. Kings on Beale St. (We
are very glad about that).  It is the same venue
that we competed at last year and felt very
comfortable with sound and company.  We are
going to be the last band to go on stage tonite @
10:45, and will be the 3rd band to go on stage
tomorrow night @ 6:40.  Thanks again to all of
you who helped send us here.  We wouldn't have
been able to do it without you!  We are here, and
we are getting ready to put on the show of a
lifetime!

Thursday Evening-
What a great night!  BB King's was packed and
the people there saw some awesome
performances - including ours!  After tonight it's
all up to the judges but we certainly brought our
"A" game.  Stay tuned for more updates.

Some moments can't quite make it through a
camera lens, but here are some of the pictures
that tell the story.  Hope you enjoy!
Friday Evening-
Our Friday night performance @ The world
famous B.B. King’s Blues Club in Memphis was in
a word, AWESOME!  We felt like we played our
best show ever and the crowd gave us a
standing ovation . . .
But alas, the room was filled with lots of great
talent including a rocking, dueling piano act
from the other side of the world.  The judges
ultimately chose them, The Boogie Boys, to
represent BB King’s in the finals on Saturday.
Our congratulations to them and our thanks to
The Blues Foundation in Memphis as well as The
Yesterday & Today Rhythm & Blues Society in
Nashville for selecting us to be Nashville’s
representatives at the 2009 IBC.  It has been an
honor to be part of such a cool event!
Special thanks to those who helped
us make the trip with financial and
moral support!  God bless, CJ.
Congratulations to D. D. Walker from the Dayton Blues Society for winning the Signed
Gibson ES137 Classic @ The Drawing on Saturday.
